Learning Support Department

 

Learning Support at RBCC provides for:

• Support for students with a disability

• Students who have learning disabilities

• ESL students –students who speak English as a second language

• Indigenous students from an Aboriginal or Torres Straight Island background

• Students with speech disorders

 

Learning Support seeks to:

• Provide support for teachers to enhance learning opportunities for all students, across various settings

• Provide appropriate curriculum options

• Prepare students with disabilities for post-school options

• Provide transition for incoming students with disabilities to RBCC

• Provide students with a sense of belonging to the school community

• Provide learning opportunities for all students

 

Specific Programs currently running to support some students include Fast ForWord, Quicksmart Numeracy and the Multi-Lit Reading Program.
