As part of our 2025 Annual Improvement Plan, we are committed to strengthening and enhancing wellbeing across our school community. A key initiative underway this year is the development of a whole-school Wellbeing Framework designed to support students, staff, and families in a way that reflects our Catholic Marist identity and the needs of our community.

We know that student wellbeing is deeply connected to learning success, positive relationships, and a strong sense of belonging.
This framework aims to build on the existing strong foundations, drawing on current research and evidence-based practices to inform future directions. Our aim is to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to flourish spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.
We have partnered with the Association of Independent Schools and fourteen other schools over an eighteen-month period in an initiative focused on strengthening approaches to student wellbeing.
At the heart of this work is our belief that wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility and that, guided by our Marist values of presence, family spirit, simplicity, love of work and in Mary's way, we can nurture a community where every individual is known, valued, and supported to thrive.
We look forward to sharing more about the Wellbeing Framework as it develops and thank you for your continued partnership in supporting the holistic growth of every student at Red Bend.
