Deputy Principal - Mr Mark O'Connor

Mark O'Connor commenced at Red Bend in 2007 - coming from St Joseph's at Hunters Hill in Sydney. As well as being Deputy, Mark teaches Mathematics.

I personally experienced life boarding as a boy from the country in Year 7. My wife Margaret and I have two sons who attended St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill as boarders and I have spent considerable time working there but also at a variety of country schools mainly in the Mathematics Faculty. We also have two daughters who attended PLC. I mention this to exemplify the value we place on having a good all round education. I love my sport and certainly believe that an education for the 21st century must be holistic.
